Born in Romania, but having spent most of my formative years in the UK, I studied architecture as a way to combine logic with design. Over time, though, I found myself increasingly pulled towards hands-on making and visual storytelling, which naturally led me to production design. Working on culturally specific theatre productions allowed me to reconnect with my heritage and sparked a deeper interest in exploring cultural identity through my work. I’m particularly interested in immersive environments and sensory-driven experiences, and I’m excited by the collaborative, detail-oriented nature of Set Dressing and the wider Art Department.
