I created the story of a tormented writer. I wanted both his clothing and his space to reflect the turmoil of his inner world. I was inspired by the grandparents in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, traditional workman clothing and, for the clothes that he was wearing in his youth, I was inspired by 50’s suits.
